Alexandra McAdam

Alexandra McAdam Clark is an accredited workplace and employment dispute mediator (ADRg) and member of the Civil Mediation Council. Her background is as a trade union officer for over 20 years in the medical public sector. She led the negotiations team on behalf of 5 trade unions (BMA, FDA, PCS, UCU and Unite).

Alexandra has dual French-British nationality and lives part of the year in France.

Alexandra set up McAdam Mediation, a three person panel, in 2009 and it specialises in employment disputes including relationship retrieval.

Alexandra developed an in house mediation service for a leading public sector organisation and has trained public servants in conflict resolution and mediation.

In her role as lead negotiator for 5 trade unions and as part of the Research Council sector, Alexandra has expertise in most fields of employment including contractual disputes, redundancies, pension rights,  interpersonal disputes  and diversity and equality issues. Alexandra is an assessor for the Dispute Resolution Service at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). She has also assessed and trained law students for ADRg in Bristol and London (BPP). 

Mediation

She has mediated in the scientific and medical sectors (Medical Research Council)  in universities, the NHS, sports clubs and local government. Alexandra is on the Wandsworth Mediation Service Civil and Commercial Mediation panel. Alexandra will bring diplomacy, experience in dealing with challenging cases and people, and considerable listening skills to each case.
